I joined alliance KNOWING we’d be outnumbered WoTLK Gold. KNOWING that all the little children who think they’re GOOD at PVP would join the Horde because it’s a lot easier to PVP when you join the side that’s obviously designed to PVP, with far superior racials.

From the very beginning, Alliance has been outnumbered 2- or 3-to-1 on Kirtonos.

Questing solo (I’ve leveled 3 toons), many Horde I came across were honorable. Some were jerks and took advantage of everyone they came across. Most were cool.

I had a ton of fun PVPing the 25% of the time when the numbers on both sides of the fight were relatively even. The 75% of the time when the Horde vastly outnumbered us, it was still usually fun, even if sometimes frustrating. This was all to be expected.

It costs HOURS of time running as a ghost to get to a dungeon, because there are so many truly bored Horde players camping every dungeon, every flight point, every quest hub, that it’s just impossible to exist in this world anymore.

The Horde can’t be having any fun either on Kirtonos. Truly, anyone who thinks it’s fun camping groups of 5-10 opponents when their own raids are full, and there are multiple of them, is either not having fun and is just grinding from boredom and some illogical urge to accumulate “Honor” , or is a psychopath.

This is not PVP folks. This is 1 faction of a HUGE number of players literally farming the other faction of barely any players.

Anyone who thinks this IS pvp we can agree to disagree.

Today for the first time EVER, the prices on the AH in Alliance Kirtonos WENT UP over the weekend. Usually the number of alliance players jumps so much on the weekend the prices drop vastly.

PVP used to be fun. Now it’s not fun for Horde or Alliance, either one. It’s boring and skillless for Horde, and it’s a reason to uninstall for Alliance, since now a HUGE percentage of your time is spent running dead, and it has NOTHING AT ALL to do with your skill as a player. It simply has to do with 100 players versus 10 is not a real game.

I am on a PVP server with a faction imbalance and only have the time to play casually. This is very similar to my original wow experience.

The biggest difference now though, is that the amount of players on the server are so much higher that it is nearly impossible to find a safe place to buy WoTLK Classic Gold level now that phase 2 has hit. Because of the increased population prime time on my server is a nightmare and players who are not pvping are forced to level in instances or start leveling alts.
