The Necromancer class has appeared in the past in Diablo, but it looks as like it's going to be massively transformed from the previous games as demonstrated in 11 minutes of new gameplay which shows that it can be a powerful weapon for controlling the dead.

In the gameplay video of Diablo 4. fans got an overview of several of the latest classes in the game and some details around the new PvP components. Beginning in The Necromancer within Diablo 4. it seems that players who take on this class will have a variety of options in the way they'd like to fight their opponents. They can summon three different types of skeletons from the traditional undead warriors, to mages, and even giant golems. Each of these three summons has three of their own specializations thus there's many possibilities of changing a Necromancer to accommodate a specific playstyle.

But the Necromancer won't solely rely on summoning skeletal companions in Diablo 4. The new game it will feature four main gameplay styles for players to select from, employing the classic bone-based spells that players from Diablo 2 will be familiar with, alongside blood magic and the potential of the darkness.
