Virgin Atlantic flights has revamped its premium line. The older product featured herringbone seating in a 1-2-1 configuration, while this new arrangement featured revised reverse herringbone seating.

Introduced on the A350-1000, this new upper class version represents a significant upgrade over the old upper class seats, which were criticized for their lack of privacy.

The new higher class seats measure 20'' wide, 44'' in pitch and 82'' in the bed position, for a length of 6'10. While these seats are quite cramped and on par with United Polaris, there is a privacy screen that adds extra privacy.

The high-tech, touchscreen in-flight entertainment screen measures 18.5 inches, so it's a significant upgrade over the previous version, which measured 13 inches. Also, the in-flight entertainment system will be Bluetooth compatible, which will also allow passengers to control the screen with the touch of a phone.

All seats face the windows, so you don't need to crane your neck to look outside. In addition, Virgin Atlantic is renovating its onboard bars. Instead of an onboard bar, they will include an onboard lounge called The Loft.

Inside the loft, you'll find lounges for up to 8 passengers and tables for snacks and drinks. In addition, you can enjoy programming from a 32-inch TV connected to a dedicated Bluetooth speaker.

Currently, the new Virgin Atlantic Upper Class seats are being offered at:

New York (JFK) - London Heathrow (LHR)
Los Angeles (LAX) - London Heathrow (LHR)
