WHAT WE'RE GOING TO DO

Here's our basic idea of what a FULL friday night funkin   will include.

INCLUDE 20 NEW 'WEEKS' (60 songs)

That's correct, 20 levels, a complete plot from start to finish. We've had a good amount of it planned for quite some time.

BRAND NEW GAMEPLAY MECHANICS

While pressing four buttons is entertaining, we have bigger plans. Nothing that will interfere with the game's ease of use, but ideas that will expand the meta of the actual gameplay and allow us to build unique levels and concepts. Essentially, we don't want to create a poor man's arcade game. It will take time to flesh out and properly execute ideas that have been languishing on the cutting room floor since the initial game jam prototype. (That animation of the boyfriend throwing the microphone in the game's file is simply one of many.)

CUTSCENES

Sequences in and out of the game that enhance the setting and tell the story. Making a 'in-fnf baddies' clip took an age for Week 7, but it depicts what's going on and gives much needed context. There's a full story behind everything that happens right now, but we'll need to animate it all to bring it to life!

2 PLAYER LOCAL

It's a no-brainer to be able to play with or against other people!

ACTIVE CHARACTERS

The possibility to play with someone other than Boyfriend, like in Freeplay and the previously described 2 player. They have new poses and their own voice. That's true, the music would CHANGE if a new voice replaced Boyfriend's. In 2 player, where is the enemy's voice? It's a fairly hefty request; initially, it was thought too much labor to do, and as a result, the currently scheduled playable characters have been delayed. But this is yet another reason to get involved in crowd fundraising.
