The next couple of months in the form of planned updates on Lost Ark Gold have been revealed in a recent blog post(opens in a new tab). Most interesting are two new classes for advanced players. The first, coming in April is the glaivier. It's an artist of the martial arts who fights with polearms (in the Korean version, she's referred to as the lance master). The glaivier switch between a flurry posture using spears and a focus position using the more extended glaive. The glaive can appear to summon whirlwinds as well as teleport. In May she'll be joined the destroyer, a warrior who has an unimaginably large hammer capable of hitting the ground so hard that it releases rock spikes(opens in a new tab) that can pierce enemies. Plus, his hammer shoots lightning.
The April update also adds an entirely new continent that you can quest in , which is called South Vern, which was an uninhabited place until settlements made use of borrowed technology to turn it green. You'll need to be item 1340 in level to go in South Vern. Additional in-game events and skins are coming too, as well as another method to raise a character to high level: "a Feiton powerpass that grants you the item level 960 equipment to boost your new Glaivier or any other character you'd like to!"
The month of May is expected to provide a variety of quality-of life updates and a weekly activity called Trial Guardian Raids, which appear to be three normal Guardian Raids back-to-back with your item level adjusted depending on whom you're fighting. Under the umbrella of "tentative" updates is another Guardian Raid against something called Deskaluda which resembles an armored doom chicken in addition to the debut Legion Raid.
These group-based activities are the actual endgame for The Korean variant of Lost Ark, increasingly wild dungeons with checkpoints between the phases as they ramp up into weird spectacles. The Legion Raid planned for May will be called Valtan and you'll have to be at least level 1415 before you can enter.
