Although the catching mechanism has improved, it still favors the other team's defense above your own, which is something I've complained about in the past and which persists in the current build. Still, I've learned that throwing the ball high over the heads of the defenders and stocking up on quick WRs is your best chance for limiting turnovers. An incomplete  retro bowl grade is the worst that could happen. It's preferable than allowing the other team to gain control.

Don't attempt to chuck the long ball if your starting quarterback is hurt and you don't have a backup sprite ready to step in. Their arm strength and accuracy are poor, so a sequence of rapid, short passes is your best hope. Keep in mind that even if you play flawlessly as quarterback, you still may not be able to prevent interceptions.
